MPT Apprentice Program

The MPT Apprentice Program is designed to give interested high school students creative and educational experience in the world of technical theater. Apprentices will work together with the MPT staff, creative teams, designers and technicians as we prepare for our 2017 summer production of 42nd Street. On select dates in June, students will learn valuable skills and techniques in one of the following fields:

  • Scenic Arts/Painting
  • Set Construction
  • Costuming
  • Stage Management

Applications are due Monday, May 1, 2017, and applicants will be notified of their acceptance within a week. Applicants must have completed their freshman year of high school. Specific program dates will depend upon the field of study and will be communicated via each field's Program Leader.

An organization like this brings an amazing educational experience to everyone who participates and experiences the work they produce. I’m proud to have been a small part of their most recent production!
